Bundesliga Previews: Bayern Munchen looking to extend the lead

Bayern Munich vs Hoffenheim
Bayern Munich seek to extend their incredible winning form in the Bundesliga to seven matches, as the team takes on Hoffenheim this weekend. Hoffenheim opened up their 2018 account with a disappointing set of results – none more so than the heavy loss against Bayer Leverkusen. Hoffenheim face a huge task in order to get anything out of this game, as Bayern are especially strong at the Allianz Arena. Manager Jupp Heynckes has further strengthened Bayern outfit with the signing of Sandro Wagner, who is unlikely to get much game time whenever Robert Lewandowski is fit. Hoffenheim have been able to score in the last four league matches.

Borussia Dortmund vs Freiburg
Borussia Dortmund are showing signs of returning to their best, but the lack of goal threat going forward could be a major problem. Since the club’s star centre forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to be linked with a move away from the club, manager Peter Stoger has resulted to not using the 28-year-old in the first team. As a result, Dortmund’s attack has been looking rather poor and it cannot wait for the arrival of Marco Reus. Freiburg have displayed excellent form in recent weeks and their looking to go eight matches without defeat. It is a formidable run of form which could pose problems for the home team.
